Released on a super limited edition yellow cassette tape with a 4 page inlay featuring lyrics, photos and other weird goodness.
A collection of early work, demos and unfinished songs. More of a compilation of rarities and work in progress, an insight into where the band came from and where it may have gone.
Quality cannot be Guaranteed!
Recorded on 4 track tape machines and primitive digital recorders.
What we lacked in experience might be made up by determination!
Side A:
Tracks 1-4 recorded by the full band in basements and bedrooms and represent the bands early songs, taking major influence from the 90's Indie music scene in the UK.
Tracks 5-9 recorded and played on what was to hand at the time, possibly while playing a JRPG on a PS1. I would write songs and demo them first so the rest of band could fix them up later.
Side B:
Tracks 10-18 are more of a beat tape. Taking influence form Electronic, Trip-hop, Hip-hop and Post rock music from all over the place. Much of the work here was not intended for release and did not reach the production phase, stick around for 'Rocking with Keith' it's worth it!
Side A + Side B = D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L
Thanks
Owain

Ferric Oxide - Limited Edition 12" Red Galaxy and Silver Hot Foil
Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
To celebrate our forthcoming US tour and 20,000,000 Spotify streams, we thought we'd make a special collection of vinyl treats for our Panchiko friends to enjoy!
Ferric Oxide is for the first (and only) time being pressed onto transparent vinyl with a red swirly galaxy effect - These vinyls will be infused with Shaun's blood....(don't tell Shaun)...okay, maybe they won't be not made from Shaun's blood because we need him for the tour.
The Panchiko logo on the front of the vinyl cover is a shiny silver hot foil treat so it'll look turbo posh and quite poggers. indeed.
We needed to compromise a little on the track listing in order to squeeze so much lofi loveliness onto just one vinyl so here's what yer get:
SIDE A
1. All They Wanted
2. NeilSSOng
3. No. 8
4. Stuck
5. Think That's Too Wise
6. Gwen Everest
SIDE B
1. Until I Know
2. Formula
3. Untitled Acoustic Song
4. Naming Conventions
5. Rocking With Keith
We're working with a new distributor - so orders made for the USA will be much cheaper!
Includes unlimited streaming of Ferric Oxide - Demos 1997-2001
via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
